HORIZON-MISS-2022-OCEAN-01-07 – Integration of biodiversity monitoring data into the Digital Twin Ocean
The Objective is to unlock and boost new discoveries that will be crucial to face climate change, and regulate human actives, which will be key for both environmental conservation and socio-economical activities.
The aim is to make all past, current, and future biological and oceanographic data available to everybody
Economies of scale and enhanced standardization will be utilized to conduct several pilot sea-basin scale monitoring tests using two strategies:
- Utilizing existing relevant sleeping data from online and partner repositories
- Utilizing new data collected during field test demonstrations.
The Graal tech contribution will consist of providing underwater autonomous vehicles equipped with a suite of sensors capable of collecting data for the digital twin.
